There is a new route that utilizes the same glitch used for the nautiloid skip. The information below here is still useful, but has to be applied elsewhere.

Nautiloid skip

The Nautiloid skip is becoming somewhat infamous for “never working” while other runners are just pulling it off every single time. What gives? The answer is enabling frame cap. Larian games have quite a bucket list of glitches associated with frame cap, and the reason for that is that it allows the stacking of two actions on the same frame.

So in short: using leap+left-click simultaneously with frame cap enabled into a valid space even if the path there is blocked, causes your character to leap regardless. Depending on the terrain, your character will be able to move up the map’s geometry, slowly rising to the ceiling. In other cases, your character bumps into the terrain and not much happens.

The steps to perform the nautiloid room jump specifically are:

1. Enable frame cap in video settings.
2. Bind mouse wheel down or up as secondary use action (primary is leftclick).
3. Position yourself in the right spot, use this video as reference:
4. Enable tactical view (default key is “O”) and zoom out (page down).
5. Ensure the room on the right is black, and not showing the roof.
6. Place your mouse in the other room where you can normally stand.
7. Simultaneously click both LEAP (“Z”) and USE (bound to wheeldown) for each jump.
8. After the 7th jump, you jump to the door.
