Hey, just confirming that I have played Waterskip Slider back to back between emulation and original hardware. So I can confirm 100% that original hardware will have the leg up in this regard. For some reason emulation isn't able to register as many presses of rapid tapping in this specific minigame. If you use Emulation you have two options when it comes to trying to replicate a simple rapid press.
-
Use slow motion, which people would likely consider cheating and bring up potential issues with counting times.
-
Use turbo/rapid fire inputs, I've found this to be less reliable since Dolphin still isn't registering every press.
I don't know if I plan to run this game, but I'm someone who loves it and just wanted to confirm it for anyone who sees this in the future.
Edit: I'm aware this is probably common knowledge for the people who have run it already, this is mostly for the benefit of people who are new and might want to try.
