Ok so I can only describe this as triggering the apocalypse of the game: Basically if you die, the game begins to progressively get laggier and buggier, each time becoming worse until you softlock. This also glitches the game by skipping a lot of levels in a row.
During the run I managed to skip so many levels in a row the game just warped me to the final cutscene (It actually skipped it and sent me straight back to the main menu). This is where I stoped the timer. You can check this is indeed true since I played on a new save file: I show at the beginning of the run that the levels are all locked except for the first one, then after getting warped to the main menu, I have all levels unlocked, which implies I actually "completed" the last level. Since there might still be some confusion regarding this, I decided to try to beat the final level after it was unlocked by the glitch, but the game kept lagging and warping back to the main menu, so I did have to restart the game in order to complete it, since it was impossible to go beyond a certain level. Hopefully that's not a problem. The time I submitted ends when I trigger the final cutscene.
I played on Flashpoint, not sure if there are different versions, but I managed to do this glitch on this one. Also for the time, I wasn't sure where to end it: Either the run ends when I got warped to the main menu, thus "completing" the game, or it ends when I trigger the last cutscene by actually beating the last level. I submitted the latter.
Sorry for the long text.
