Common Village (Grasslands) Guide

### This is a preliminary guide/route that is used in the current meta of Common Village (Grasslands).

### **Terms used**

**XP**: The village's experience, which can be seen on the yellow bar on the top right corner.

**Dynamic Breaking**: Whenever you break an object, it breaks into multiple pieces. These pieces instantly mine any small-medium sized trees and rocks in the Grasslands biome. The bigger the object is, the more pieces and the wider hitbox those create will be (Crafting table vs. Campfire). You can also enlarge affected area by dodgerolling towards the object right after you break it to spread the pieces further.

**End XP "exploit"**: When you break an object, the XP will still continue to count towards the progress for 4s after breaking, so during that time you can get double an object's XP for the materials of one.

### **General strategies and things to keep in mind**

- Before you move you have ~15s of time to scout the area with your camera before moving. You'll want to look for the white houses, the less broken it is, the better. Clustered resources are another important thing to look for at the start, since they can get your 13 & 15 resources fast.
- 10 Planks will take 80s to craft with one Lumber Mill so getting those crafting is the #1 priority currently at the start
- Focus on clustered/grouped resources all the time

### **The basic route**

- Pick up 3 wood from ground
- Dynamic Break with campfires
- Dynamic Break at least once with Crafting Bench to unlock Lumber Mill
- Gather Wood and Granite until 13-21 & 15 (Optimally you would gather 13, out of which you'd use 2 for crafting and gather 8 more after you've started crafting them. Safe option is to gather 21 and queue crafting all of them)
- (If you have a house near spawn, use it as part of the village for XP)
- Make a Lumber Mill and craft 10 planks
- While they're crafting, gather needed materials
- Safest is to craft 2 more Lumber Mills, but optimally you can finish with only the first one. If you're using only one, remember that you have 4s to level up twice with the materials you get from breaking the Lumber Mill
- Each Lumber Mill is 8 & 15 on materials, so safe option is to gather 43 & 60 to get the XP needed for the village. (Optimal route only needs 30& 30 materials after planks) 
- Build Shack -> Village -> Level Up

The optimal route works by having a big house that covers 70% of the village's XP from Lvl2 -> Lvl3 (first Lumber Mill gives 30%).

Hey everyone! 

First off, sorry for the delay and confusion of getting started with these boards. There were different aspects of the game that I want included in the boards (even if almost everyone else didn't) and it was confusing to try to piece it all together. With that said, everything is ful
