Me personally I think it's a really huge step down from the other missions. My main issue is not only with how short it is, but also how a majority of the time in the mission you are doing errands rather than proceeding.
The first code is okay I guess it's taking advantage of the fact that there are 2 different houses adding a rng element (unless they could only spawn in one house for me it's been that way).
The second code just feels unnecessary and really it feels like it's only used to confuse the player the first time.
Then finally there's the teleporter sequence which is the WORSE part of the mission its practically just waiting for a timer. I know sensei wanted to make the mission unique/special, but the levers can basically be removed, and nothing would change cloakers are glorified stabbers which is a letdown and closing the doors wouldn't ever prevent them from making it inside because they aren't even killed, they just move towards a different door.
Finally, the ending which I actually like it's a new change of pace pushing into an actively spawning hoard, but it just ends so abruptly, and it just feels like a copy and paste of prologue from dvn
One last thing to note is I do really like the new enemies, but I don't really want to say they are what makes the mission unique because odds are they will be used again in the next mission. Fireteam 1 would have been something unique to add to the mission and from what the leaks shown it was promising but you never see them at all they are just mentioned and when you finally do find them, they're all dead... What was the point of even adding Fireteam 1 in the first place?
It's small, it's hard, it's kinda speedrunable, lore wise it's pretty good until it's not. The name of the mission means two things coming together, so what I thought would happen (and what was leaked) was that we came to help nautal and Jeremy (leaked from qa tester screen share) while Jacet died in action (since Sensei really wanted to kill her). Then we fight against hoards of enemies with hammers guns etc. But what happened instead we just saw 3 dead bodies, of which only one we actually would know something about if it weren't for the leaks. The dialogues are perfect, kaskas sarcastic, pronto is probably screaming and laughing like a little kid, aradus is scared, and calar barely talks (in fact I got them all to miraheze less than half a day after the release). So many things were leaked, turrets, 2 new characters, emissary seating and he gave you two options (two different routes) to chose from and much more but it all got scrapped and changed, I really like cloakers, something new which if you make one mistake can cost you your death, on the other hand shielders suck, they are really easy to kill with certain weapons and gadgets, but with everything else they are straight up impossible to beat. It's a fun mission which introduces new stuff, but it lacks a lot. The code was really easy to find, they found it in 3 hours. The lore that it has is pretty basic, but at least we know more about a character (Kaska) that we did really know about.
Fun for hammer mains due to the shielders. I will say however I do hate how the lever is rng based, but it's better than Decovenant and Dawnbreaker rng wise. Because you don't have to worry about non-hostile kills or getting a perfect spawn, in fact I still got sub 5:30 even with a less than ideal password spawn and I needed 4 plates anyway. I just suspect ultimately for solo, getting favorable scavenger drops is the most concern you'll have here.
