I will select people that have a history with Zelda speedruns and proven their community participation and commitment. Noone else.
3D zelda games are a lot more recognise than the 2D ones and I know people who are planing to do a run of all the 3D games also there are a lot more 2D games than 3D so that is less chances of people running it cause it's longer and expensive
@DemataPyro that's a nice way of treating someone, going behind their back, then stating "they do nothing". Ever since I took over Zeldaspeedruns.com almost 3 years ago, my personal commitment has been unquestioned by anyone actually involved in the community, as it exceeds I wanna say 95% of community members' commitment. So good job trying to get something by straight out being disrespectful and uninformed.
As for the games, you're lacking information too. Multiple 2d Zelda games asked specifically not to be shown here, as they focus on TAs, not real time runs of the serieses. Given that I know about the activity of the other games, heavily struggling lately to even find runners for the games by itself, your suggestions seem like a cheap attempt to find uncontested records.
If the communities are actually interested in having these categories, they know where to find me and will contact me. Better luck initiating a contact with me next time, maybe being respectful could help.
That's not the point, and no, you shouldn't be banned, it just was a really daring and quite annoying thing to say.
My advice for you: Get started - start running games, interact with the different zelda communities, find folks to play with. And if you find folks to excite about the idea, we will talk again.
