Cheat% for Speedrunning Top Gear 2 is a category in which the speedrunner takes on the USA% side category with everything upgraded to it's maximum. Cheat% is labeled as such because the only natural way to have such upgrades is to 100% the game up until the United States. Typically the United States within the game will only give you the amount of money required to beat the other cars you are racing along against. However within Cheat% you have the whole package and then some, you have everything upgraded for you without having to upgrade manually. This is done with a special password within the game, however the game is not "intended" to give you this password to have everything upgraded already. With this special password, which is handily available through Speedrun.com "Search" Top Gear 2 and click Resources. It has every password that the game does not want to give you and they are valid password as well. So, is this cheating? Well not really, since there is a password given and the password given is the type that allows you to have everything upgraded especially only for the United States within the game. Cheating is only considered if you are going faster then the engine allows, EX: 300 + MPH (not KPH). This is a test run of the category, so please don't expect the best gameplay, I was trying to get a feel for the mechanics of how much faster it is compared to the regular USA% category! :)
