[Guide]  San Pancho Any% Glitched

San Pancho can take the longest amount of time in the 100% full game category. Depending on RND, you can get a time anywhere from 30m, to 1h, 15m. This guide includes strategy that is used in order to get a fast time in San Pancho.

Guards: Name the fourth guard in the rename characters menu to something like "444444", "Red", or Staff".

1. Search the unoccupied desk, and use that to use the desk serach glitch so that inmates won't know you are searching their desk early. Gather Comb Shivs or Penarium Barrels, and the items necessary to craft Molten Chocolate, a Shovel, or cutting items. After finishing searching the left side of desks, go to roll call. Give the comb shivs or penarium barrels to the tailor. The tailor is always the 2nd one over from the bottom right.

2. Depending on the tailor's opinion, you may have to change your play accordingly.
	A: [>60] If his opinion is high, you should easily be able to get him to follow you.
	B: [45-60] If his opinion is in the middle, you should still try giving him opinion items. You should give him three items at breakfast, and if not enough, three at the start of job period. Keep note that you can only gift inmates 3 items per In-Game hour.
	C: [<45] If his opinion is low, it's not recommended to gift inmate items unless you can find a lot of penarium barrels. Instead, do this. Once no guards are around, attack the inmate and let him follow you through the entire job period. This will still make him lose his job, but you can't use that time to boost intellect or search desks.

2.5. If you can get the tailor to follow you, use the infinite durability on a fork. Chip the corner wall at the gym which leads to a Prisoner Stash. You can use the exercise mat in the corner to go up into the utility shed once the wall is down, but remember to put the wall block back or keep it at 4%. Use any remaining fatigue and/or time to increase intellect.

3. After Job Period ends, apply for the tailor. You will need to increase your intellect if you couldn't get the tailor to follow you. Show up to exercise period to avoid getting instant 99% guard heat, then chip the top wall in the tailor room. Guards never check there, so you can throw out the wall block or give it to an inmate to completely get rid of it. Then, go back to step 2.5 if you weren't able to befriend the tailor and needed to attack it during job period.

4. Open both prisoner stashes. If you get lucky, you should get a shovel or plastic red key. If you don't get lucky, hopefully you'd have the items to craft.

5. Get three extra POW outfits. An easy fast way of doing this is to get them from knocked inmates, or take off your outfit to get an extra one when knocked. Perform the yellow key glitch on two outfits. This is necessary as you can use one at night as a yellow key, and replace the 4th guards red key with the extra yellow key. If you didn't get the items needed from prisoner stashes, boost your intellect so that you can craft them if you have the necessary parts.

6. Depending on if you got the plastic red key or not will depend on how you need to adjust. If you didn't get a red key, chip the other wall in the tailor area to get out. Using the molten chocolate, knock out the fourth guard. Replace the red key with the yellow key, and take the guard outfit. 

7. Complete your quota during job period. Go to the timber area in the top left of the map, and gather timber braces before you start digging. You can get at least 8 timber braces with this. It's highly recommended to complete your job first to avoid guards yelling at you for being outside without your job done and the possibility of being sniped.

8. At Evening Rollcall / Lights Out, gather two sheet rope (one if doing infinite durability), a bed dummy, a yellow key and cutting items. Go back to the gym utility area, then use the ladder up. Use the sheet rope to go down in roof level to go forward to the generator. Start cutting the rooftop fence. You can also use the cutting time freeze glitch for this. Leaving this fence open is necessary as you will not be sniped or sent to solitary.

9. Save your game in the bed, then load straight away after so your infinite items will no longer be ghosted and can be gotten rid of if necessary. By this point, if you have a shovel, you are safe to unlimit it, because if something goes wrong, you can reload. When you start digging, doing the tailor job is optional, but if you don't do the job, make sure you are still in the tailor zone (no yellow arrow) by the time each job period ends (13:00 and 21:00), otherwise you'd have to chip two walls. Start digging until you get to the electric fence. Then go through the gym utility shed to get to the roof with two sheet rope. Make sure you have a guard outfit or extra infirmary overalls before going up otherwise you'd get sniped. Turn off the generator, then start cutting with the time freeze glitch. Start digging again and make your way past the landmines. You will be safe to stop digging when the screen stops scrolling when you move forward.

10. Once at Evening Rollcall / Lights Out, make sure you have the bed dummy in your bed, then go through your tunnel, then at the end wait for the jeep before digging up. From here, we're basically set to a normal escape strategy. Put the dirt back in the hole once above ground, make your way to the bottom single wall, then start chipping.

A Thorough Center Perks (Glitchless) Guide [Cleaned Up]

This is a guide based off of NinjaNas's guide. I just found it was a bit messy, so I decided to clean it up for them as well as add in a few things to be aware of during the run. Hope you don't mind.

Timer starts when you hit "start game" on the Rename Characters screen.

When you start, run to your door (hold down) and [ideally] aim your mouse in the hallway right above the person adjacent to your cell's TV.
When the Greetings Letter appears click as fast as you can to get it off of your screen.

At 8:00 you will leave your cell. Go right, down, left, down, right through the double doors and into the canteen. Run along the left wall into the blue tray/cutlery. Here you will need 5 forks. If you do not have 5 forks, quit game and redo the steps above. Keep in mind you want to grab the forks as fast as possible, as you want to minimize the menu time for this speedrun.

If you get five forks, immediately close out of the cutlery inventory and proceed out the doors. Go into the room with 2 computers. Immediately start chipping at the far left wall with your forks. 

At 9:00 a Lockdown will happen. Leave the the room and go upwards or towards police officers. MAKE SURE AN OFFICER SEES YOU, NOT A SNIPER, OR ELSE THE DOORS WILL STILL LOCK!

The reason you die here is to 1. Get Heat off of you & 2. Regain your fatigue/energy. 

TIP : DO NOT FOCUS ON GETTING THROUGH THE WALL SUPER FAST. FOCUS ON DYING FAST AND EFFICIENTLY. YOU HAVE LOTS OF TIME TO GET THROUGH THE WALL. 

Once you die, go back into the computer room and begin chipping; you should break through the wall around the beginning of Morning Free Time. 

Now, you will want to quickly replace the wall behind you, and grabbing the Prison Stashes. Anywhere from 0-2 will spawn. One spawn point is directly down from the black hallway, and another is in the vents. If you do not get Flimsy Cutters, reset the run & repeat the above steps.

If you do get flimsy cutters, proceed back to the wall you broke out. Drop one fork if you want, it's not necessary. Dig through the wall and replace it immediately. You should be back in the computer room.
While you're there, go ahead and collect 1-2 intellect from the computers, and during your free time or Lunch grab two bed sheets and craft a sheet rope. (This is contraband as well as the Flimsy Cutters so DO NOT GET CAUGHT DOING ANYTHING)

During Work/Leisure time, I recommend going to the Infirmary as no officers go there to tell you to go to your job. Mess around there, sleep in the beds, go in and out of the cabinet. Do whatever to pass the time. 

At 16:00, you will get a message saying you lost your job. There are 2 visual cues I have as to where I need to put my mouse to close the message. The last two beds there is a space in between them, and you can stand there and place your mouse the the wall in front of the man advertising jobs, just to the left. There you will see a diagonal shadow. You can also stand inside the diagonal shadow and put your mouse the the steps south east of the man. Find what works for you.

Now you will proceed to Exercise and Shower, where you just stand around and laugh at the dialog. Make sure not to open player inventories or look at missions as it stops the in game clock. 

At 18:00, proceed to the wall you have broken, break it, replace it, and go into the vents. Do not go through the second vents. 
Wait through Dinner, Through Evening Free time, and once Evening Roll Call starts, Stay ready.

At 23:00 go up the ladder, and go up a few tiles, and straight left. When you get to the ledge, use your sheet rope.

Proceed left to the fence and cut it with your flimsy cutters. Timer stops the frame your screen starts to fade.

Glitches Guide

All glitches were discovered from RareRiotMasterYT unless said otherwise.

Search other desks in a different cell:
This strategy only works on another inmates desk. It will not work on your own desk. To do this, click on the original desk of the cell you are in, and then click on another desk as the "Searching" bar is filling up. You will  get a different result as the game thinks you are searching another desk.

Yellow Key Glitch:
Take off your outfit, put the outfit in your desk, then press the esc key and CLICK the profile button at the same time. This may require multiple attempts. Click into your desk, and make sure the outfit is in your desk. Click out of your desk, then back in. The menu should be glitched with yellow keys. Take your outfit out of the desk. Go to your profile then equip the outfit. Click out of your profile, and when you go into your profile next, your outfit should be a yellow key. Click it out to get it into your inventory.

Infinite Durability:
There are two ways of doing this. You can do this with a yellow key glitch with other items in your hotbar, or use a weapon item such as a comb shiv. Press the esc key and CLICK the profile button at the same time. This may require multiple attempts. Click into your desk while putting the weapon into your desk. Click out of your desk, then back in. If the menu is glitched with yellow keys, take the weapon out. Go to your profile and click the weapon. Once the extra items in your hotbar disappear, you will know if you've done it correctly.

Undo Infinite/Ghosted Items:
(Discovered by Smythe) If you want to undo your infinite durability glitch, open an inmates gift menu, then once you put something in the box, click out to restore all of your items. Can be useful in San Pancho.

Duplicate Glitch:
(Discovered By Smythe) Open up the crafting menu, craft what you want to duplicate such as molten chocolate, and then on the same frame you hit craft (game running at 45 FPS), press 9 or esc to exit the menu. The other items you used to craft will be invisible, and you can get them back by performing the "undo ghosted / infinite items"

HMP-Irongate Jesus Escape:
You will need a guard outfit or infirmary overalls, and a zipline hook. Get access to the orange utility shed in behind the janitor area, then go to the roof with a guard outfit or infirmary overalls equipped. Your guard heat will increase overtime. Get sniped right next to the zipline, and use the hook during the transition. You will still have the effect, so you will just need to get off the bed in order to clip into the blocks.

Steal keys without solitary:
Do the yellow key glitch, then keep the yellow key with you. Knock out the guard that has the keey you need, and with the extra yellow key you have, replace the needed key with the extra yellow key. This is very important because if he gets up without a key, you will be sent to solitary anyway.

Teleport to infirmary with red items:
Use a desk, toilet, or knocked inmate so that you can store your red items. Get knocked out, and when your HP reaches 0, use the transition to click the toilet, desk, or knocked inmate that your items are in. After grabbing your items, click out of the menu and you will teleport to the infirmary with your red items.

Hostage Cut:
You will need a knocked out inmate or guard. Start chipping the wall or cutting the fence. As soon as you start, pick it up. Do not set him down if you still see the "Chipping" or "Cutting" bar. If you set him down too early, you will be sniped anyway. In Center Perks, Stalag Flucht, or other maps that use fences, you will need to be fast otherwise you will be sent to solitary.

Cutting time freeze:
This method only works with cutting. You cannot do this with chipping or digging. Once you start cutting, pause the game. Make sure you unpause before the bar is full, otherwise the fence percentage will not go down.

How To Do Hostage-Cut Glitch

The Hostage-Cut glitch is useful for escaping center perks in broad daylight.

1: Start off by checking each desk for duct tape, food and optionally, files. If no duct tape, reset. Also, if you get a file you don't need food.

2: Continue as normal until breakfast.

3: If you have no files, you need four knives. If not reset. If you have one file you need one knife and if you have 2 files you need 0 knives.

4: At the very end of breakfast, get an inmate to follow you and tell him to beat up a guard.

5: When the inmate gets knocked out, duct tape them and head south outside.

6: Go to the white key door, and them goto the third-closest fence to the right.

7: Drop the inmate

8: Click the knife/file, click the fence and them quickly pick up the inmate. You should now be cutting the fence while holding an inmate. Because of the hostage, no one will shoot you. When the cutting has finished, drop the inmate

9: Repeat step 8 until fence is cut.

10: Walk out while holding hostage.

11: Win!

How to get a yellow key in under 10 seconds.

Here's how to do the new yellow key glitch discovered by Jellie. -Original glitch found by Azumarill

1: Take off clothes
2: Click profile and press escape at the same time until this happens: http://i.imgur.com/bNF7Qe9.png
3: Open desk and put clothes inside
4: Close desk
5: Open desk again and take out clothes. The clothes should have a yellow key behind it.
6: Open profile and put clothes back on.
7: Close profile.
8: Reopen profile and take the key.

How to speedrun Center Perks and what to know while speedrunning

Before I begin showing you how to speedrun Center Perks, I will show the basics of what you need to know while speedrunning The Escapists. 
- First, know the fastest route to escape the prison, you can do this by watching speedrunners that have run the prison that you are trying to run.  
- Second, if somebody has/has not run the prison you need to make new routes and find out what is the fastest route to run.
- Next, reduce menu times which are menu that stop in-game time which makes night come slower than usual. Checking your/other peoples profile, Checking quests, Crafting, Letters, and Looking in desks all increase menu times. To reduce time find a route that uses less Menus as possible and try to spend less time in menus. 
- Finally, find efficient items that will make your escape attempt easier and faster.

This is my route to speedrun the Center Perks. First, click start game and quickly close out the letter, then go to the canteen and get 5 forks, it there is not 5 forks restart the run. When you have 5 forks go to the computer lab and start digging out the wall, when the lockdown starts let a guard knock you out to lose some of your fatigue, continue digging out the wall (guards may check the room, be careful!) go into the hallway get the prisoner stash in the hallway and the one up the ladder. (there might be two, one, or zero prison stashes) If you don't get any stashes or no cutters restart the run. If you got the cutters proceed out the hallway, place down the wall, dig the wall until it reaches 2%. If you have two forks drop one fork. Then go get 1-2 intelligence, then go get 2 bed sheet, make a sheet rope then wait(don't do your job). During evening dinner, go to the lab, dig out the wall, place the wall behind you, and drop your fork. Go up the ladder and wait until the end of evening rollcall. Once the prison is in lockdown, go up the ladder to the rooftop, use your sheet rope to get off of the roof, run to the fence, and use the cutters to cut it. Then you will escape Center Perks!

Official Timings for The Escapists

Start: 

When hotbar pops up in tutorial & yellow key/When in game clock changes time {7:51; 8:51} in all other levels (PC)

When black bars fully fade/When starting letter fully fades (Console & Mobile) {Use the one that occurs LAST}

End:

When black bars BEGIN to close/When yellow key is obtained (PC)

When the player stops moving/When the screen turns black in the tutorial (Console & Mobile)

Additional Notes: 

Which you use depends on the level and platform you are on

Retimings will be done using https:/​/​github.​com/​Slush0Puppy/​retime

It is recommended that runs be uploaded to YouTube to be retimed using "SP's Retiming Tool" otherwise a frame-by-frame method will be used for videos on other platforms

For PC there always will be a 100-200 ms difference in timing due to hardware/loading time differences (starting on first input won't help since most levels are time-based)

Here is a step by step guide on how to do it as well:
1. Press '9' or click on the hammer to bring up the craft menu.
2. Put the items that you are using to craft into an item in the crafting menu.
3. Press the 'craft' button and press '9' at the same time.
4. This should give 3 or 2 invisible spaces in your inventory.
5. Now, right click on an inmate and then press on the 'gift' section.
6. Put any item in the gift menu, and then click out of the menu by clicking off of the menu.
7. Now, you should have the crafted item as well as the items required to craft the item.
