The rules state to start timer upon selecting "Play" but everyone seems to be timing from the end of the countdown. The run would be 3:17.36 from the press of play.

Renovation complete, important query and a contest!
Today the anniversarial leaderboard renovation has been concluded. I hope you all will see its current state as an improvement. I certainly do, though I do need to mention that a part of it does vex me a tiny bit.
