There is a command to disable Narration, it is sv_coda_mode 1, so with "bindtoggle f sv_coda_mode" you just had to press f to enable and disable Narration. Im pretty sure it does nothing except that. The name implicates that the games are in the state where coda made them, but you still have to wait for Davey to speak and the lampposts are there etc.
So it's allowed to use that bind in a run? If so, that'll be great. Not sure if that's a good idea or not, since current runs are still timing while paused
You rightclick on The Beginners Guide in the Steam Library then go on Properties, then on Set Launch Options, type in -console, then start the game and type bindtoggle f sv_coda_mode. (Normally you only do bind [key] [command], but with bindtoggle you can enable and disable a certain value, which is helpful for this.
