So I have seen here that some of the physics depends on your fps... does that mean you need a decently powerful computer to run this game? Hope not, that would be a shame!
Unfortunately, for some skips, yes. Us runners typically lower the graphics settings to the minimum so that we can get the highest fps. You might be able to do those tricks if you do that.
If you want to see what kind of FPS you'll have before buying the game you can download the demo at http://www.croteam.com/talosprinciple/
I benchmark 200 fps on minimum settings in the demo and all the tricks work fine on my machine.
WAIT me and Extodasher have found ways to eliminate most of the high FPS spots (but it does take longer).
I run in the First level at around 180-200 FPS, while streaming 150 is that sufficient?
BeautifulPanda, there are some jumps that require a little more. Specifically in the C-star world.
Unfortunately, the jump that requires the most fps is in B4 against one of the statues at a sigil entrance. It requires upwards of 300 (changing my settings from low to lowest on GPU gets me from ~240 to ~380, so it may require more). This only applies to All Sigils.
UPDATE: Jokes apparently it can be done with 200 fps or more but it is extremely difficult and the more you have the easier it is.
