Considering running this game soon, but the only hardware I have access to right now is a NA NES with a Famicom to NES game adapter (and I don't feel like using an emulator). Is this permitted? I have no idea if this makes the game run any differently than on Japanese hardware but I would assume not as some NES games were actually Famicom games with an adapter inside an NES cartridge.

Hmm if it works the same way famicom games playing on NES with everdrives, then it should be fine.

They're both NTSC so in theory it should run pretty much the same. I know that's the case for the SNES and N64 running Japanese games, I would assume as much for the NES too.
