Is there any particular reason for why nobody has ever submitted a run on the English version? Or has it just not been done yet?
If you look under used on Amazon, the game goes for a very low price. Or if it comes down to it, you could always emulate.
I would recommend recording some runs first, so then people can see an example of what kind of categories you're referring to and perhaps more people might record their own.
Okay, so it must have been programmed the same on the Switch port. Thank you!
Earlier today, I completely skipped the fourth red crab in mission 1 on accident. How does that action work?
Yes, it's the same. I would've thought opting to use the Heavy Machine Gun would be faster at more times than that, but if not, then that's that. This is just from an inquisitive point of view, if you become a zombie during Mission 2 and there are no opportunities for a kit anywhere, is it faster to take a death?
The version of the game on the Switch allows you to Game Over and continue literally right where you died with little to no time loss, and since you then get refilled bombs and often better weaponry, it seems that gaming over, in some instances, could be a better strategy than trying to stay alive. I hopefully don't sound ignorant, as I haven't been playing for quite as long as other people here have, but would it be smart to add a rule against gaming over?
Regarding the 10 Crates, that's the same thing I had in mind. And the no killing enemies thing could work, but we would need to experiment with it as a community/group, so I think it would be safer to just start with the default category ideas. Is there a mod that allows for playing of the whole game?
Okay awesome! First of all though, how do you even replay the tutorial?
The game developers still need to fix the game because they broke it in the last patch, but for when they do, could we add some categories that people could actually practice and get better at? I'm open for discussion on categories, there's just no way to grind the tutorial.
So I performed the skip (without really trying that hard to in the first place) and this little visual error occurred. All I did was mash Start and B to get past the tutorial screen and then I repeatedly pressed A and B at the same time and I started jumping. Not sure if this can be taken anywhere, but I'll probably spend some time in the future messing around with it and seeing if it's anything more than visual. If anybody has any answers or ideas please let me know!
Are there necessarily any consistency strats for runs in general? I've found that completing a run is very difficult to accomplish, so improving late-game is extremely hard.
