I'm online and verify all newly submitted runs every 1-3 days, if you're in the discord you can ping me and I'll get to your run vastly sooner. I'm the only mod consistently online as of now. (Shoutout to fakeman for showing up briefly) There is a still a fairly large backlog of runs to work through, but most of them are endless timeless runs from the competition which I might not bother with. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

TLDR: I'm verifying often, ping me on the discord to get a run verified sooner.

Excellent job following the rules, especially given it's your first. You would not believe how many runs get rejected for having an unavailable video, or not showing upgrades.

personally I think there are too many categories already but I wouldn't mind see this become a separate leaderboard

So I have been wondering a few things as well as noting what I've seen other people saying and I have come to several conclusions and questions.

1. People are saying runs are taking too long to be verified, (they may not be saying if their run did get verified) taking potentially up to and over a month. It stands to reason, we need more moderators, and if so, how do we/I apply? Are there requirements?

2. Something small I've noticed is that certain leaderboards have odd categories, such as the tempoless leaderboard having the teal timer category

3. On a similar note, I have yet to notice a single "multiplayer" run, and personally think the category should be removed.

4. This is more of a personal situation, and I'm not sure if I should mention it, but I planned on submitting a run, however had never posted a video on Youtube or a similar site, and had some trouble uploading one to link for the speedrun I had completed. As a result of that, I had accidentally submitted a run without video footage, as required based on the rules. Oddly, within the day it was (unsurpisingly) rejected, and whoever reviewed it left a note saying, as expected, that I needed video footage. And so I resubmitted the run with video evidence several days ago and haven't gotten a response. (with an apology and explanation) Is there a penalty for submitting a faulty run? Am I getting ignored because of it? As of now the most recent run (rap0687's 05m 02s 360ms) was verified three days ago and the run I resubmitted was done so a while before that. Or perhaps there is a que of sorts and they submitted their run much earlier.

I would like to note that these are merely my short term observations and are things I have heard from potentially old threads, Also as far as I can tell SpicyBorger is the only currently active mod and I admit verifying all the runs by yourself could be very tedious.

Final disclaimer these are just my opinions and I would love to hear your opinions.
