The server rules do say to follow discord ToS so... idk
Let's be real, Jannik and I do most of the verification and Xin pops in from time to time. Dani and Meta don't ever interact here. If anything, you'd need to be active in the community for a while and have enough knowledge about the game to know how to spot fishy runs and such.
Before you try to innovate a game, try to learn about it first lol
I feel very humiliated xd i mean the accusation is so baseless that it's more funny to me than anything.
lol there's a gun up there xd scandal of the century
i'd assume it was the glitch where you grab a prop and it tries to initially move towards 0,0 coordinates instead of the player, but idk how consistent that is or if it's faster than current methods
my god can we shut up about this already lmfao it's just karlson without using WASD how hard is it to understand xd
Everything is possible jumpless and double crouchless, except for esc0 which essentially requires double crouching to rise up the walls of the starting area.
yeah, not very interesting to watch imo due to the lack of interesting strategies available. it doesn't add anything new, just takes away from the depth of the game.
Tbh you just need to get better at clicking the Next button in that case, that's how I did it back when all runs were RTA. You only lose about 5.5s if you take an entire half second each time you click next, but you can get it down to only losing about 2.5-3s by just immediately going from level to level which is indeed a skill albeit not the focus of the game lol
The autosplitter is a necessity for IGT because otherwise it would be much more difficult to tell if a run is spliced or not. Anyone could just slap an RTA timer on top of a spliced run (or not use a timer at all) and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if someone has basic video editing abilities. On top of that, using external timers is standard among the majority of top speed games and they are not difficult to download and setup. The amount of effort it takes to setup the autosplitter for each runner is preferable to the time spent adding every time up manually and then having to spend even more time than usual making sure the run isn't spliced for every submission if we were to calculate IGT for people not using the autosplitter.
That's my perspective as a prolific runner of this game first, and as a verifier secondarily. Maybe Jannik will think differently but idk.
If you reset while in tutorial and I didn't notice that's my bad for not noticing. Go ahead and resubmit, I'll check again.
That would change three IL's now that sky2 uses one. If you're going to go glitchless then go all the way and remove all the difficult movement techniques from the category along with wall clips. Glitchless is essentially easier any% routes.
not as salty as the people who want this category to be made will be once i take most of the records for myself 8)
sounds like a boring ass run to me ngl, but whatever. people who want an easy trophy aren't going to get it because us any% runners will just take it for ourselves so i don't see the point to adding it. the used "glitches" in any% raise the skill ceiling and make runs more exciting anyways
Honestly though, is there even an active "glitchless" side of karlson speedrunning?
that just sounds very boring. do we eliminate crouch jumping as well then? what about sliding under the table and uncrouching to get the milk, or prop jumping (without pausing like in esc3).
