i spent the entire time verifying dying laughing at the noise that the safe-combination door makes when spammed LOL

slide off the platform, grapple as close to the top corner as you can, hold crouch and space and aim JUST to the left of the edge so you hit it very slightly before, thats what i do, its mostly just luck.
you can speedrun using the intended route, how you run is entirely up to you, but if you don't put the time in to learn the fastest routes & the glitches that allow runners to get the fastest times, then you won't find yourself at the top of the leaderboards unfortunately.
idk, enforcing slower routes kinda goes against the purpose of speedrunning imo
its just showing your pb, it shows your actual time in the top left
that wouldn't really work, for levels like sb0, sb1, sb2, and esc3, there are too many available paths to choose one 'intended path'.
