Hi! I'm Artem.
Around a year ago I released a game for speedrunners, and oh boy... nothing happened :D
Have you ever been in a situation when you get a good idea that you think everyone will love, and you start bringing it to life without properly checking if anybody actually cares? Well, this is how you can describe pretty much every endeavor of mine.
It all started as a trainer for one bullet hell MMORPG with permadeath. I built some trainers for difficult bosses. The game community was quite happy; I got some traction, but after a while I made a mistake I always do. Instead of proving ideas, understanding which features are important and which are not, I decided to do everything on my own, and for the next 2 years, I was just making what I believed was right. Spoiler: it wasn't right.
It was always a challenge/speedrun game at its core; however, I never talked to a speedrunner or engaged the community with the hope that it would somehow™ get attention.
Well, better late than never! I need your opinion! The game is here: speedrun and steam, but please don't think I'm trying to make some money on you. If you wish to speedrun it yourself, I'll give you a free key; just DM me (is there a DM?) here or on Discord.
I'm actively developing it, and I want my further path to be actually right. Currently I'm working on a level editor that was requested by a few people, and I want to know how important it is for speedruns. Which features do you believe are essential? Does the game itself have speedrun potential as I see it? What is missing?
If you want to try it and give me feedback, or even make a run, that would be AWESOME.
Oh, and what I regret... I regret that I didn't write this post 3 years ago when I just started the development. Sorry for a little clickbait.
I wish you a good day!
