I'm sorry and no offense meant - but the new leaderboard looks like it was designed via a free website builder. The old layout was nothing to write home about, but it was miles better than this. There's no way you cannot do better than this. I cannot fathom how this is supposed to be an improvement.
If you put in the code before the run it should disable the fireball until you turn it back on.
There will be a new category with the new cup, and the other one will remain as a category too - similar to Mario Kart with 32/48 tracks.
Check out some of the runs over at: https://www.speedrun.com/spyrortconsoletimetrials
Most things on the console version will still apply. I'd look at Lulu's NBS run and Chris's 120% run. Watch the runs and apply what you can.
@Jumpyluff, they would change into a variable.

Here's the link! It's required to remove loads from your runs. If you have an questions/concerns, feel free to join the Discord and we can help you get it working.
o so i have to donate to change the awful green, nice. i see the real game plan here fellas
also making light mode default is incredibly jarring considering what the layout was before. not a good decision
I do plan to roll one out at some point. But the above method is a good way to go about figuring it out, too. You can learn it the above way if you'd like but for the warp 5 clip I'd highly suggest using Murcaz' non-blind tutorial, it's only about 20s slower & it's a lot safer. The strat I use is a bit finicky & not bad with practice, but isn't necessary until you start wanting to hit the 40 area.
You can use the load remover on Switch, it's image based, not memory based. Also, you can put the timer on the video after the run, even my laptop from 2009 could do that.
Binding two inputs to one button is now allowed to make the setup for the Gate Clip glitch more consistent.
This is also done so it does not give using KB+M an advantage when doing this specific trick.
This can be done in Steam through big picture mode and on console through remapping the controls in system settings.
Button rebindings are otherwise useless and create no other advantages in game. This new rule will make for a lot less frustrated Crash Bandicoot 3 runners, so enjoy.
You don't need original experience to be successful in this game. Watch Chris, Lulu, or I. Take the stuff we do, and do what you're capable of/comfortable with. Game is still fairly new, and always changing, so a guide is a bit far off in the distance at this point.
If you need any extra help, feel free to join the Discord - stuff is getting posted there all the time so it's easy to keep up.
