Yeah, the difference is only in how fast can you complete game. That's why I am okay with things right now, but I still think it's a shame that you cannot be "officialy" a holder of 60 FPS WR with FPS being only a filter.

And I think we all kinda agree on what to do. Read carefully and everyone is down for separating FPS and making categories. I can see that everyone would be okay with 60/120. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think it is allowed. I don't see a reason to reject it. I had to pause mine because sun was getting in my way and I couldn't see zombie well enough lol

I agree with snoolsie. If anything, imo, it'd be 60/120 category, but variable as category (and one of main ones on top of that) is overkill cos it's purely pay to win.

I understand that you want to keep leadboards clean and current state of things is actually really good, however it's kinda a shame that on your profile you're listed as 8th person, when you actually have WR on 60 FPS (not talking about myself). I am actually down for whatever, both are fine with me, but it'd be nice to see this 1st place on your profile if you actually have one. But that's actually the only thing that makes me up 60/120 category.

Actually noone here assumed knife may be patched soon. I mean, we don't know. I think they will patch it, but don't really have to do that. We may have to wait for Ghost Survivor update for that actually. But for now I am actually down for whatever, we may change things if it gets patched.

I am mostly down for 60, not because it's fair or whatever, but knife isn't actually broken there.

I really liked and still like to run RE 1 Remaster, however stairskating was overkill for me and ruined whole fun. That's why I didn't even bother to do that and continue my speedrun without doing it. I really want to be competitive in upcoming RE2 speedruns, but if going for WR won't be fun for me, then I am fine with playing my own way and being 40th in ranking.

I won't be able to have 120 stable FPS with recording on for sure (not mentioning I'd need 3rd party software to cap it like that, which I don't really want to use) but if mods decide to cap it 120, then I will run 120FPS "category" with 70 fps, cos having fun from speedruning comes before doing ridicolous stuff for getting WR. I don't feel like it's unfair for me. I will upgrade my PC eventually and will maybe think about WR or top time in general after that.

Practice makes perfect, but in quick shooting case it can be really tricky.

The trick is it's really all about this one frame. To put it simply, you have to press fire button exactly at the end of recoil animation.

So you shoot first time - there's this recoil animation, where jill's gun for instance goes up and just at the end frame of that you have to press fire again. You may even shoot 3 times in a row - that'd be god like.

That's exactly it, no problem! I didn't know about that one, till I've watches some streamers as well .-.

It's faster than the other option. If you do not do that, you'd have to exit the room with barry, trigger another scene with zombie there, come back to barry's room and trigger yet another scene.
