JuZockt and I suggested the same thing back then we ran the category. Ich would really prefer a timer start at board apperance
If you are right, Jb, you should reject Gesomaru Time from the Leaderboard. The Story itself is crazy but that Xana verified it is more crazy. Video proof should be required. And if you have a video you can also check if the IGT is right.
Why aren't we using the ingame time that is shown at the end oft the Run? It's ridiculous enough that a Screenshot of this time was enough for Gesomaru to get verified on the Leaderboard.
So I guess everyone can do this to get the minimum amount of load times added to his time and save a few seconds, right?
Jokes aside. I don't see why we are not using the ingame timer. It would be the easiest way for everyone.
First of all: Thanks Jb for adding the categories. My suggestions:
-
There is no way to select "CPU" as a Player without tagging the User "cpu" from Scotland. That should be fixed.
-
It's irrelevant in which order I am submitting the players - the site orders the names in alphabetical order. I submitted me as Player 1, but when I go to my pending run, I am Player 3, because R is behind C for CPU und K for kagayaku.

I think IL-Leaderboards are very... invisible for most of the players. I would prefer to have a Full-Mode-Run through all Areas right next to the "Journey (Expert)" Tab and right next to this a Misc.-Tab with the IL-Tabs. But thats just my preference.
I don't think that we should seperate Solo and 3-Player Runs. Thats the reason why I wanted only an Level 7 or 8 CPU. I think that sould be fair.
Just seperate IL and Full-Mode.
Is this Thread not the same one that I started on release date? Anyways...
When me and a friend played the first three stages with a 10-AI as P3 it did like 80% of the Zonemeter and I think thats kinda lame for players like me who are in the bottom of the leaderboard. I think an AI should not be able to carry you and should especially not give you an advantage over 70% of the playerbase. If its better for a player to play with two bots instead of two real players it makes the category obsolete. That's why I would prefer a 7, 8 or 9 AI. Yes, its also kind of a punishment for players without connections to other runners, but I would prefer this instead of just having a leaderboard full of solo-runs that got carried by a good AI/RNG.
My idea would be: An All-Areas Run as a Main-Category and Single-Area Runs as Misc.-Runs. In both the AI should be on a maximum of level 8 or three real players.
Did really someone started on Area 1 Stage 2 or 3? I mean... you are right: The rules should be as precise as possible. But it would be really sad if ppl think they could do smth like that.
I would prefer it when everyone on the list plays the same version, because of the big differences. But whatever. When I'm the only one with this opinion the thread can be deleted now.
I dont want to start a new thread for this but I noticed that the "Solo 10-man smash"-Run from LOZRunner was entered incorrectly. It is a 7.45 instead of a 7.045
This Run is not 6 seconds long: http://www.speedrun.com/run/emkr825z And its not a WR in this category its only the second best run.
