Found a potentially useful glitch on accident I dubbed Speed Crouching. It's pretty self explanatory. To perform, open your scanner and begin sprinting. Close the scanner and near the end of the scanner closing animation, perform a combat slide. I found that it's easier to do when going down stairs if the slide is during the transition of the slope to flat ground but it's still possible on flat surfaces. Reloading, using powers, and other actions interrupt it (though it can be preserved between crouches and jumps). If you acquire personal atmosphere, this can last about 30-45 seconds to get through any required stealth sections much faster.
