Fixed it, should be showing correct platform now.
@Meepering1 For individual levels you're allowed to use whatever character you want. For the full game/any% runs they need to be started from a new game, so the duck will then not be unlocked.
@Output Sorry for the delayed reply. Seeing as the game does not have any active runners at the moment I am going to say that we do not create a new category based on if you choose/have the ability to do a certain skip. If the game suddenly becomes popular among other runners then we might have to rethink it.
Switch has been added. Sorry for the extremely late reply. Working full time and being a dad sort of takes a lot of time. But like Elsasquatch said, messaging me on Twitch or Discord will yield quicker results. MizterConfuzing#6656 on Discord.
@SpelunkyDunkey The rules for IL's are the same as any%. Which basically means that Glitch mode/april fools exploit is not allowed.
@Hunt3r2795 Do you want a separate category for playing though the whole game co-op with a friend? If so you can do a run of that, link me the youtube video and I'll see what I can do.
@Muted5ilence Same goes for you if you want a category for 100%.
We already have a skip for the first barrels. All you do is spawn in the second player, then jump on top of him/her to boost yourself up like the green button would. This makes King Barrel drop down right away. Look at WR run for reference.
Good find though, appreciate you posting.

This is the first time in four years that I have not attended in person. So instead I stayed home as a viewer and enjoyed the quality runs.
The good! -Good variety in games represented. I'm mostly looking for GTA games, so the fact that several games were accepted was a big win in my book. The GTA boys delivered with good runs and entertaining commentary. -Shout to Kyle for his first ESA run! -Shout out to English Ben for his first ESA run! -The 170 something player SM64 was good fun and something that could become one of the main attractions of the event each year. Seeing as no other event does this. -Hosting for the most part was okay, some awkward moments ofc, but that is to be expected.
The bad.. -I was originally a chat moderator this year, but that kinda went to shit and I was kicked off the team LOL. -The chat was over moderated, as several people have already stated. -Some donation readers were really hard to understand. I think a certain level in english is needed for this job. -When hosts are struggling to find something to talk about they should just transition to a different scene, instead of just being awkward on camera. -I agree with whoever wrote about the partner/sponsors shout outs. Some of it seemed very off and badly timed.
All in all it seemed like a good marathon. Wish I could have been there in person, but becoming a dad ans stuff kinda got in the way. Hopefully I'll be there next summer!
Why tho? Also, this site is dedicated to speedruns. What you're suggesting is the exact opposite.
Alright, I really should write something here.
Biggest thanks and shout outs goes to Noz, Stabby and Ryedawg for opening up their hotel room and letting me stay with them for free. Without them I would not be able to go this year, and miss out on all the fun times. Finding more generous and fun people to be around is hard, and I'm lucky to have friends like them.
Other shout outs: CrazyCharlieH Etem Joshimuz KZ_Frew Mhmd Omega Gael English_Ben Tezur0 And everyone else from #GTA that showed up. Sorry if I forgot anyone.
Thank you all for the good times, the sub tier memes and the good drinks. Hopefully I get to see you all next year.
Yeah, this is a horrible time of day to host it. Also since alot of the runners are in Europe. I would love to join, but at 2AM I can't do it. If we could push the time back to like 11 or even 12PM I would probably join.
Saying that no current runner of the game is supporting Ryedawg is wrong. I have done several races this year against Charlie, one of these was also re-streamed on GTAmarathon (if that matters). And Although I did not PB and submit a run to the leaderboard, I would still consider myself part of the GTAV community. I just don't have the time to stream as much because I work a full time job. But I do my part. I moderate and watch when Toriks streams. I read the forums to keep myself updated. And I try to play it when I have the time and energy. And I support Ryedawg. He has now shown his commitment by re-timing many runs, and trying to answer whatever questions you ask. When he does something wrong, or changes something without talking to the community, THEN you can start crying to Gyoo. But until this happens I have seen no reason not to trust Ryley's judgement when it comes to moderating this leaderboard.
I am grateful for Ryedawg and the other candidates who sought this nomination. Their convictions strengthen our speedrunning community.
I am especially grateful tonight to my #GTA brother and sisters.
No matter what else I do in life, asking Ryedawg to mod GTAV was the best decision we ever made.
And Toriks, everyone loves you and so do I.
Growing up, he gave me love and lots of advice.
And I want to thank my Gyoo — the most decent man I have ever known.
All my life I have been amazed that a gentle soul could be so strong.
And Gyoo, I want you to know how proud I am.
I have pulled all my submissions for this year. I want to thank you for letting them both pass the first cuts, and I'm sorry for cancelling it. But I will not be going to ESA this year because I have to put all my money towards trying to buy my own place to live. I will try to donate a little, and probably sign up for chat moderator or something just to feel like I'm helping.
I'm gonna take some inspiration from S and say; my games.
