My memory on the game's ending is a bit fuzzy, but I believe the cutscene after the credits is just Yoshiki at Ayumi's house? If it's that, then the timer can stop when the credits start rolling.
Are there any gameplay differences between the two versions?
If you mean the fact that the missions are called "Individual levels", that just means they are not full-game runs. I didn't specify in the rules whether it had to be single-player or not, so if people are interested in doing it co-op, I can add it as another variable. Give me time tomorrow to set it up and you can submit a run to it, if you have one.
I've always agreed that series moderators should be there to organize the games, set up themes and add games when necessary. Individual game mods are the ones who should be in control of verifying runs and making categories.
One suggestion I have would be to display the number of followers a game has, say, under the release date/platform. Everything else looks great.
¤supressing need to put a "it's me, Austin! It was me, all along" joke in here...¤
Set up the IL categories, and looks much better. Also found out how to establish the default rules for each chapter by setting it in the category. Thanks for all the assistance.
I took the example from Terraria and did that, but haven't found out how to make the levels show up by default.
EDIT - As in, skip the Full Game category and the individual levels are what auto comes up.
It might be better to put them as individual levels, yes, but most people running this game will do it by-chapter...a whole 11 chapters run will be about 13 hours long.
So I was setting up the categories in a game(there are 11 of them) and for some reason, the last 3 were below the rest and were much larger than the other categories. Now, this makes it look like the last 3 are more important than the others. I'm not sure if this is intended to be like this, but in my personal opinion it looks strange.
As you can follow games, I thought it would be neat to perhaps have the count of followers a game has, say, under the game on it's page.
Could also be used on the "Games" page for games with the highest follower count.
Just found this during setting up the series - http://www.speedrun.com/cprebuilt needs to be added to http://www.speedrun.com/corpse_party
I have a few ideas on the current requesting game system:
-
When searching for a game and you receive no results, there is a button at the bottom that says "Not here? Request it!"
-
A "Note" section on the request game page. If there is any special information you need to add, you can put it here.
It might be better to wait until a week before and request again here - as there is no real "note" section in the request game page, I'd feel more comfortable putting the info here. If I need to do it on the request page, I'll do it, but I think I'll communicate better here.
Corpse Party: Blood Drive is coming out in English in October, and there'll be plenty of speedrunners for that game. We already have the page for the original Corpse Party, http://www.speedrun.com/Corpse_Party , so that needs to be converted into a series and the page for Blood Drive added.
As of now, levels are under a "Show Levels" button. I think it would be good to have the option to in game settings to have the level shown by default.
I requested a game about 2 days ago, Saya no Uta - it showed in my pending requests until today, when I checked and I no longer had any pending requests; however, I had not received any notification saying whether my request was accepted or denied. As you may expect, I'm a bit confused, and would appreciate any sort of clarification.
