I only got that hardcap of 60fps removed due to the "faked" gfx card drivers. Might try to run it anyway, since I already have low 51 in any% PC with all those glitches (On 60 fps without that gfx modification), just gotta pray that nothing breaks...
I might be wrong on this one but is the traffic pattern hardcoded into the game? 3 days ago I had a bus appearing at the same corner all the time, yet small percentage traffic seems to be randomised.
Been playing around it for a bit, still same results. Fun facts about the game tho
The higher FPS in the menu - The better, it will run at normal speeds below 100, at 200 the transition between menus is reduced greatly, at 500 you basically fly between menus. Can be easily observed when changing resolution in graphics options on lower spec machines. The game consists of many smaller .exe's that launch when certain mission starts, that's why f.e. your run @Thebpg13 has small problems with window detection when the mission begins. As many older games, the game will run on iGPU as default (on laptops obviously). Running dgVoodoo will fix that, but also cause different problems. More about it in a sec. The game is hardcoded to run in 60 FPS, any drop to 59 will be noticeable. BUT, dgVoodoo somehow disables that hardcap (Don't ask me how, I ain't no specialist in that matter) which causes the game to run faster depending on your frames (120 FPS = Twice the speed).
Random slowdowns, speed ups, sometimes peds are glitching out and causing the game to slow down to crawl until mission ends, or at least make you hear peds voices till you get to the menu... Is there any game patch, workaround to make this game work at least a bit better? Attempting to run it in compatibility mode seems to make it only worse, played with settings for a while - no results.
