I might run the category again sometime in the future, probably not soon, but eventually. But if so, is the replica out of bounds bug going to be allowed in these runs?
I know we have the google sheet that says less than 18:30 is technically possible, but 19:00 is very realistically possible. I was running any% for the second time in a few months and was on my best paced run ever by the time I beat Security Nexus at just under 7:38. In my 19:10 run, I got there a just under 7:42. That's already a 4 second faster run, and if you do the math, that works about to about 10 seconds saved through the whole run, which can definitely be done. The most time can be saved in the later part of the run on Sundown and Escape plus some more on spamming, but there were still levels that could be improved in the early game such as Clouds II. Unfortunately, I lost the run to phase and also did poorly on Chemtrails and the binary quizzes, but it shows that sub 19:00 might be easier than it seems. Here is the video:
I doubt this idea will go ahead, but I wanted to suggest the idea of adding IGT to full game runs. To calculate it, this was my idea: for all timed levels (i.e. not the security nexus, prism, the escape, the message) the RTA could be subtracted from the total time and the IGT added instead. The time in between menus would not be adjusted. I know that some levels don't show a timer during the level, so those times would have to be shown after the run is completed. Because of this, every restart of a level would also have to use RTA. Pre-existing runs could just use RTA as IGT or the player could retimed it and have it reverified. I'm sure there might be a better way to time it if IGT was to be added, and like I said, I doubt it will happen, but what does everyone think?
