Am I the only one who can still see and watch his videos on speedrun.com just fine? Might be because I have editing permissions on his channel but even when signed into my own channel it still shows up on speedrun.com
There should be a message that shows up whenever you are supposed to get hit. The lasers synced are reliant on ping however so this system isn't always completely accurate, unfortunately, but it is the best we can do for these kinds of cases.
As long as they don't finish before you (or at least give you enough time to reach the ending platform before the game ends) then yeah it's legal
Unfortunately, there's no feature on speedrun.com to block individual people from speaking on forums or leaderboards. We just have to deal with having him here
I always use Ozi but atom gim (unreleased) could end up being better
Ohhhhh you thought deleting those would actually affect us?
The ones that we can literally redo within 20 minutes where you won't be able to delete them again?
I'm locking this thread since the original question being asked has been answered, and we're simply arguing about an unrelated topic at this point.
@retrozy bro wdym delete resoucres you have no mod on anything besides the gimkit series, which by the way basically means you have zero power since the most you can do is remove a gimkit game from the series, which i literally can just add right back
@retrozy says the guy literally kicked from the mod team on every gimkit game, and banned from the speedrun server
Side note: The clouds in the background of the run would also need to be lined up which is another point against it being possible to splice a DLD speedrun
@cosmonerik Although I understand your suspicions, it is almost impossible to accurately splice Don't Look Down due to the energy and in-game timer. On top of that the run uses a plugin that shows the velocity and coordinates of roblockcornerclipper's gim. All these stacked together mean that it is very unlikely to be possible to cleanly splice it. You most likely meant this for video glitching out at some points during the run, but all of those are most likely just due to video recording glitches on the part of his recording software.
@retrozy bro ur the one who made the rule lol
also kewl theres actual competing for wr in an IL
what kind of goofy fps did bro have to get .172
@YoussefSalah Yeah he's 100% cheating thats why its verified on the main category speedrun.com leaderboard
@retrozy maybe because summit 1 is a horrible summit to speedrun idk just a thought (I mean like I hate it idk about everyone else tho)
but yeah he could probably save a few seconds here and there
bro i dont even think current patch has been out that long bruh
