Also, I can confirm that everything is displaying properly now that some time has passed.
Thanks for the help.
I want to keep the User Defined on since this game is still very new and minor patches are being added regularly. It's easier for runners to just input the correct version than waiting for me to add it myself. :)
Thanks though!
Here's a few snaps in a google doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B_aQ9_ibW7MtC4dATWVkidQsOu5mbz44Pdcu49LfTug/edit?usp=sharing
Now that I go back to the page, the Version column HAS appeared but the variable for the one Hard% run is not displaying at all.
Is this just a matter of how long it takes things to update on the (presumably new) servers?
Hello!
I'm trying to set up a "Patch version" variable on the Ring of Pain leaderboards but it will only show the "default" variable and all others can only be seen with a filter.
If I uncheck the "default" variable option, then I can see all the runs by the "Patch Version" column is also removed. I know what I'm trying to achieve is possible since many other boards do it (See Hollow Knight for one example).
I noticed a few other folks posting about similar issues above and I hope there's some kind of solution. Please advise. Thanks.
Hello! I put in a request for the Cat Quest series page - it was approved but no mods were added for some reason. Can myself and hi15td (who posted a few messages up) please be given mod powers of the series page. Thanks!
Heya! You can join the Discord to chat with us in the Speedrun room. It's easier there.
To answer you question: In every category except "Fresh File" you can have as many upgrades as you want. Further, on easy mode you can adjust the "Easy Mode Settings" to be in your favour (extra player health, lower enemy health, lower enemy damage, etc...)
On "Fresh File" you need to back up your save files and reset your progress. I don't suggest doing any runs for that category since we're likely going to delete it soon - the category isn't as good as we expected.
I hope that helps! See you in the Discord!
@Daravae - I have messaged SNeaky twice now, on separate days, across all platforms, and multiple times on our Discord server. No response whatsoever. It has been 3 days since the last time we messaged him.
Issue Reminder: SNeaky is an inactive super-mod for Cat Quest II and we would like him removed from the role. He was the original creator of the page did not set it up, nor does he have any runs, nor is he active in the community. His last interaction was the Cat Quest community was almost a year ago.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Hello! On behalf of the two active Cat Quest II Super Mods (myself and hi15td), I'd like to request user "SNeaky" be removed from the Cat Quest II Super Moderators list.
SNeaky appears to be a Cat Quest I runner and the original creator of the CQ2 game page but has no runs nor are they active in the community. When I arrived in the community, the page was still not set up other than basic categories. We have been able to gain control of the page thanks to one of the other original mods (who has since removed himself after transferring power) but we would like to clean up this one loose end.
We have tried reaching out to SNeaky multiple times over multiple sources, including the CQ2 Speedrun Discord where they are an admin (also MIA) and we have received no reply.
Please assist. Thanks!
Hello!
I'm one of the Skylanders series mods and we're trying to prune some of the excess/MIA moderators on our various games. Would it be possible to remove the following Super Mods from their respective games? They have not responded to any form of communication on any of the platforms linked to their account. Neither of them have been active in the game for years, nor do they perform any moderation roles, nor are they present in community Discord.
If possible, please remove or downgrade the following:
antie_tonie from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure Paulie9990 from Skylanders: Swap Force
All other stray mods were able to be contacted and have respectfully removed themselves.
Thanks!
Yes. I managed to catch him on Twitch shortly after making this post. (Figures) Thanks for the quick reply!
Side note: He is still a person who doesn't run, play or support the game. What grounds do I have to get him removed from the game entirely, or are we just stick with this random guy with super mod powers? It's kind of an awkward question to just ask him directly....
"Hey, since you don't play the game or contribute, can you kick yourself?" :P
Thoughts?
Hello hello!
I'm looking to be made the Super Mod of Skylanders Swap Force. I am currently a regular mod that had to be inserted into the position by you fine folks because the other two mods were inactive way back in 2016. It's been 3 years since then and they have done absolutely nothing involving the game or it's community. The entire page has been set up and managed by me.
We're starting to get new runners and I'd like to add some [active] mods to the team but I can't do that since I'm not a Super Mod. Paulie9990 is the current Super Mod and has not responded to contact via Twitch, now or in the past. Paulie has no posted runs, does not run the game, nor is he a member of the Skylanders community in any capacity.
Please advise. Thanks
Paulie9990 and checkerchairs, if you see this message please respond!
You have been mods forever but we've never seen a run or even a conversation from either of you. Please make yourself known asap.
