Hey!
I've added insane mode as a sub-category to all of the four main full-game and level leaderboard categories. I find this to be a much more suitable method to organize runs that may or may not ever exist in enough quantity to be competitive.
I've also added Challenge, an Arena mode, as a level leaderboard category. I've also added levels 1-15 as sub-categories. This is only a temporary fix until either myself or another mod can think of a better way to format. I currently cannot think of a way to make entirely separate and distinct categories to a specific level, so I would gladly appreciate any suggestions as to how this could be made more aesthetic.

I would prefer to not post personal bests on the leaderboards without recorded videos, so I'll list my pb for each level here. I'll do a more detailed write-up on each level when I get some time to do a proper guide.
Level 1 - Pastel Pursuits 34:78
Level 2 - Duel Elements 25:44
Level 3 - Champion Stew 36:94
Level 4 - The Runs 31:63
Level 5 - Flight of Fancy 28:98
level 6 - Slow or Go Left path: 22:73 Right path: 24:16
Level 7 - Trial and Error 28:41
Level 8 - Ups and Downs 24:46
Level 9 - The Challenger 25:13
Level 10 - Crash Course 36:08
Level 11 - Boom Room 29:61
Level 12 - Fun with Fans 20:56 (REALLY FRICKIN' HARD)
Level 13 - Racy Days 38:36
Level 14 - Soloperation 18:88 (I think this is close to perfect)
Level 15 - Trigger This 28:18
Alright, I've added Challenge as a Level Leaderboard category, and along with it, fifteen misc. IL categories. Due to limitations in the leaderboard design itself, this is the only way (to my knowledge) to prevent each chapter from having a ridiculously cluttered categories list.
Best of luck!
Hey tandrewbrown! Challenge mode is actually my personal favourite category to run, both for IL times and full-run times. Due to the levels being designed specifically for speedrunning purposes, there are a TON of different routes and extremely difficult techniques you can employ. Slippy5 (Slippy318 on YouTube) and I have extensively routed and optimized the challenge mode levels. I also have personal bests written down (though not recorded) and could write a guide for each challenge mode level, if anyone shows the desire for one.
I'll try to figure out how to format a new section dedicated to challenge mode when I get some spare time. For the time being, absolutely link to some runs! I would love to see what strats you use.
I just had a thought. Allow me to quote from the Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels rules. "WiiVC times get multiplied by 59.824/60.098814 to adjust for the slower framerate." Could we do something similar here?
Would it be possible to appoint a speedrunner of BBT to moderator status? The current state of the leaderboards is lacking, and the categories are too split to promote any real competition of varying game settings (insane mode, for example). It would be much better to have someone who knows the game well to have the authority to edit categories and/or accept/reject runs. The acceptance of runs which play at 64fps should be a non-issue, but for some reason it persists as a question. To runners of the game the answer to this question is very clear.
