Snake returning to speedrunning again is hype. Always good to get more runs up on these boards.
Congrats, the PB drought is over!
The sub 2:50 barrier is finally broken leaving the next milestone of sub 2:45 to be achieved. With current strats I’m not entirely sure how possible that would be, but I’d love to get there one day. For now I’ll be happy with small improvements.
I've really got to get consistent at the midair pickup for the frog in this level. So much time save for me there alone.
Great first submission and congrats on WR!
This will certainly be an interesting one to try and beat. Next WR might end up also being the first sub 2:50 which would be an insane milestone.
Yeah my main problem with it is that it changes the order my ILs are listed in. Previously they were listed in the same order they're listed in on the leaderboard page (order they appear in game), but now it's ordered them from my oldest submission to my newest. I even tried disabling the feature again but it didn't change the order of my ILs back to the way they were. Is there any way to change the IL order back to their proper order as listed on the leaderboards? And if not this should definitely be something I think they should consider fixing and allowing as the different order they changed them too just looks way messier and less appealing and I much prefer the list mirroring the order they're listed in on the leaderboard page.
Finally after so many unrecorded PBs one finally made it onto the boards. Good job.
Great first submission especially considering that you've only been playing for a few days and I'm sure your movement will only continue to improve with time.
This was my first world record and looking back on this it's amazing to see not only how far I've come since then, but also the community as a whole. This was definitely during the golden age of speedrunning for this game when multiple WR's were being made a day. Who knows, maybe one day we'll have another one of these era's? It'd definitely be interesting to see.
Definitely going for sub 9 now. Should hopefully get that the next time I run this category.
Excellent first submission. Great job!
