I would like to add on to the Offroad Vehicles Only discussion. How about separating the runs done with Dolphin Dasher into its own category, just like Spear/Torpedo only? I would love to see more Offroad Vehicle variety. 7 out of 8 runs use Dolphin Dasher. That's quite the majority, quite dominant in that category ':D
Thank you! I'm not sure if I can run that category any time soon, but I'll remember!
Since I've never played the full game, it ends after a level where you have to create 4 errors in a garbage room (delete boxes, uncover bits in a pipe, etc.).
After a casual playthrough it seems like you get a postcard reward after completing Super G.P., but no such reward that would signify an ending after Special G.P..
So Super G.P. seems to be some sort of ending (it looks like an ending screen, since there's no credits roll, etc.), but what is the case with this in 2022? I know I'm replying to a 3 year old question.
As far as I understand, it doesn't matter what kind of stunts you do, the amount is always the same. Right?
What's the fastest animation for a stunt? Which specific stunt combo should I use?
Isn't this game also out on Playstation 4? That should be added as well.
Apparently along with several Xbox platforms, PC, iOS...
Probably wrong settings set by moderator, it doesn't sort by IGT...
Also: On top of individual track speedruns via Time Trial, individual Championship runs could be fun as well (all the way from Class 1 - Championship 1 to Class 4 - Championship 9), but it could be that the speedrunning scene of this game won't be big enough sadly to fill all these categories in. Just a fun thought.
@Gingervitis Feel free to share it here, and if you do a run with it, the DS category might be added to this page.
Unless the mod(s) add it, I hope they see these posts
Not bad, although I would add my level runs to speedrun.com though, I think others would as well.
Also, I have a suggestion for the cover art here on this page. There are plenty of different cover arts out there that has been used for the game (as a matter of fact, even my hardcopy looks different than what I'm about to suggest cause it's a later release from a different publisher or something), but the most common is this one I think:
Could it be changed to this one? I think this one is the most official, official websites (SCS, Wikipedia) and Steam is using this one. I think it's much simpler looking (in a better way) and looks more pleasing.
I also think this is the cover art that most people know, and what the official release used.
