It's an interesting idea you've put forth here. I'm definitely not averse to the notion. It makes sense for all but one thing: how would we organize multiple categories? Sure, this one and GB only have one category each, but that could change, and the SNES one already has a few cats. I'd be very interested to hear your solution to organize them in a way that's not super confusing.
What would be the benefit of that? The three versions of Shaq Fu on the website are completely different games. It's not just different console versions of the same game.
I'd like to add to that: on the kid I find that he often uses his "cage attack" at the beginning of a fight and I found out that you can kick through it if you get the timing right. It's probably faster than jumping, because I've only had him jump a few times for me
That’s great! Good luck to you. I think a sub 7 time may be possible if everything is absolutely perfect
"All Sports Blindfolded"
All Sports rules to be used, with the addition of having to be blindfolded the entirety of the run.
I agree, I think it should be when the number changes from 4 to 5. It just makes sense that way
Hey! I'd love to get into Madden speedrunning. Do you think there's a chance to get at least Playnow% categories for various ones in the series? I would, of course, be more than happy to help
Do you think that there's some way to manipulate the game so that there's good RNG almost every time? I hate losing runs to five "Lose Nine Days" in a row.
Ohhh. I've been timing it wrong this whole time. I can easily save about a second or two now just by clicking the old man faster!
I think it would be really handy if this group had a discord. I'll create one and link it, if you're interested.
I don't think it's super necessary for sound to be required; people can, however, choose to put it in the videos.
Hold on. When does time start in the first place? I thought it was when you tapped the button that said “tap to start” when you enter the tutorial
Why would a separate category be necessary in your opinion? I use N64 and think it’s perfectly fine
Is it better to have time set to 30, or none? I’ve tried both and I’m not sure if it makes a difference
Thanks!
If I retime the same run, can I submit it back? It'll be the same video, audio, and all, but will be retimed after the fact.
In the NG+ category, is it allowed to have one-shot kills/ infinite ammo on?
