Ill try probing this game as much as possible to see if there's any way to skip the parts that are "scripted". If it doesn't work ill just pick a random game from my library that can be ran and start doing it. <3

As the title says, im looking to get into speedrunning and i just can't find a suitable game. Ive been gaming my whole life, but it has mostly been multiplayer and such. And the singleplayer games that i do play are heavily scripted so you can't even speedrun them because all the triggers happen at set times. Another problem i have is cost, im a broke ex-student and can't spend the little money i have on games i might not even enjoy speedrunning. And my last question, can i even have this mindset? Shouldn't you speedrun a game you already are good at. Can't just go to a game and think "i want to speedrun this" can i?
