Why is there no category for beating the game? Sure there are categories for each campaign but in this game "beating the game" means beating all 3 campaigns from a fresh file, which is what the task of an Any% category is typically. I would be interested in trying out this game's speedrun but I find it so lame for a "full game run" to just end on a score tally. If the kind folks on the mod team who might be reading this could add a category where you beat "Story Mode", "Trip's Story", and "Last Story" from a fresh file in the same run that would be rad!
First off I'm on switch, if that means anything. I have interest in speedrunning this game but there's no guides from what I can see for Egg Shuttle (what I want to learn) and I have no idea how to start, any help would be appreciated!
all borders when
@brapstu thanks man! I plan to do exactly that, and this category still had quite a ways to go
I dare someone to bop me in Kill Elder Guardian Random Seed (Glitched)
I feel like one should be added for those who want to keep submitting to the boards, and then just keep emu runs off the main board. That way everyone would be happy, the emu players who wanna keep submitting and the console players who don't wanna have emu runs past 1:05 on the main board
I was just cruising around sr.c and came across this game, I'm wondering why the rules doesn't say when to start the timer? Maybe I'm missing something but I just wanted to ask
is there a way to watch the tournament, by chance?
Me and Saria had the idea to make this a category, he came up with the idea and we both did runs.
Timing would start upon selection of the first ghost you fight whether it be on Normal Mansion or Hidden Mansion (those would be 2 different CEs) and ends on suck up of the last ghost, we haven't really figured out a ideal route but I just did this little demo run to showcase why it should become a Category Extension
Ideally I would like to make practice files for each Bowser fight but since the game saves after every shine it's not really possible to do that. So I'm wondering how I should make practice files.
I agree with what Dangerless said, having super mushrooms instead of poisons would also remove the timeloss from getting hit by it which would be pretty unfair to those with out the amiibo.
I agree, video proof should be required
