I know this forum is so crazy active :P But on the off chance that someone ever DOES show up here and go "hey I think I'll run this game" then I thought it'd be worth documenting the skip.

All you have to do is get to the hallway right before the giant crab boss, die (there's an enemy that'll spawn, shouldn't be hard to die there), then make your way back to that hallway. The giant crab's spawn trigger will have moved to that hallway rather than the boss room. As a result of this, the boss room camera lock event never happens and you can just waltz on through the boss room to the level end trigger.
