Are Emulators banned for a reason or just cause some of them are questionable in their legitamacy?
Are they banned? This game's ruleset only mentions when time starts/ends. Other games with banned emulators specifically say something to that affect in the rules.
When you try to make a submittion it says emulators are banned. Since i am not intrested in commiting fraud here I was intrested if it had a reason why emulators are banned from submitting.
Glad you pointed that out, I was playing this for fun, considered submitting a run of my own.
Yeah. I also did but since i lack a capture card emulators are really my only way to do stuff atm. And i got a decent time on it too with video and such :D Like a 32:48 but since emulators are banned from submitting i cant really submit it since well lies are not my thing. But an answer from the mod on this matter why such a reality is as it is now would be real nice to justify the ban on this. Since This is basicly like Knight of the Round which has no problems with emulators as long as its not the SnesEX 1.54 older version or something since it did not accurately emulate lag. But either the mod hasn't watched this forum post at all in the 4 days its been up or he has no idea why it is so (would like something to happen if that is so) or at least say "its banned because reason x". Hoping this is not just being ignored :/

Another runner did research a few months back on a few different emulators and found that they were inconsistent and mostly faster when it came to load times, decided to just ban emulator to make it fair for everyone who paid good money for console and game etc etc. I also didn't want to make too many meaningless categories for this game since there was only a couple runners at the time.
