i found a mobile app called frameperfect that is a timer with all 3 numbers of millaseconds. works for RTA runs and is very accurate

Captain Spirit isn't exactly SMB1 when it comes to precision, nor is it as highly competitive as it either. There are plenty of boards that have an absurd number of ties for first place (see Home Alone NES, The Town with No Name, GoldenEye 007, Hotline Miami ILs, etc). It's about the fun. If you feel like counting frames and keeping tabs on your own, have at it, but it won't be on this board.
