I've just started trying to run the game and am moving from GameCube to PC (windows 10).

Is there a guide to what best hardware and software to use? Should I be using an emulator or just the original PC version of the game? Also are there mods/setups i should download?

Also does anybody have any recommendations on what controller/kit to use? I'm planning on getting a PS2 controller and linking it to the PC through an adapter.

PC is generally the best version of the game in terms of loads and everything and we have a loadless timer and autosplitter set up on Livesplit.

Any controller should be alright I believe Liquid and Croc use PS2 controller, Pet_Petiguana uses Xbox One(?) (it's Xbox 360 or One I forget) and Cythertime uses Gamecube so whatever you prefer is pretty much what you use.
