I've been speedrunning romhacks casually offline for the past year and have decided to start streaming my attempts and submitting pb's. My question is about emulators. Are there any restrictions or considerations I need to know about?

For reference I use Retroarch with the SNES9x core.

Typically with Rom Hacks you should be fine, with that being said always read the rules of the game/category you are running.
