Prop boosting is 33% faster than strafing if performed perfectly, as the game temporarily gives you ultra max momentum, in which ever direction youre prop boosting with, & can be achieved by mashing the A button, on the bed.
A more consistent way to prop boost, is to have your Alien medpack armed, so you can grab & let go of the bed, with the Right Trigger (RT) as well. This makes it easier to roll RT + A grabbing and letting go of the bed a lot more smoothly.
If deemed necessary, you can also go to Advanced Settings & Swap Triggers if you find it easier to alternate uses, between LT + A instead.
Time stamps for this method are
7s 50ms end of the hall
16s 50ms containment room
25s flat at beginning of hallway, after circular lab area (24.50 if you're really fast) This is the most important timestamp as if you're anything higher than 25.50, you want to restart
Use 4 prop boosts at the start, go through doors fast.
Use 12-16 prop boosts down the hall. So John Speech skips the last letter in the word "Gas" (fastest way to do this room however is mashing A, instead of rolling RT + A as you'll be able to do a lot more boosts, however you're only saving 10ms, on the 16 boost RT + A roll method, and its a lot harder to do)
Use 3 prop boosts in the next room.
Use 5 prop boosts in the room with the shooting scientists.
Use 5-8 prop boosts down final hall. You should Skip Joanne saying, "Affirmative" if done correct. Fastest prop boosts will have you skip John saying the word "Luck" in Goodluck, prior to joanne saying Affirmative, but is very hard to pull off.
Note: the goal isn't how much boosts you can do, more as it is how long can you keep ultimate max momentum prop boosting, sure mashing is better, but only by fractions of a millisecond, where as you can lose way more time letting your momentum fall.
