Do submissions to the PAD SMB Edition Any% leaderboard need to be played on V2.0, or is either version fine?
Either version is fine. I think I'll add a variable to know if runs has been done on V1 or V2.
V1 or V2 shouldn't make much of a difference either way unless you're doing all levels, seeing as all V2 did was add new allies (the majority being koopaling and magikoopa transformations) and add awoken skills to not fully transformed allies, which wouldn't be useful until the star worlds. The only thing that could be useful is revamped score attack, which if you could get boomerang mario from Fixed Challenge 5 consistently (iirc you have to get SS rank or higher) would save time being able to have an actually good leader as early as World 1
