What alternative would i use instead of livesplit? i would also like to be able to import my old runs.

Im using endeavouros, steam is installed via flatpak, and ori wotw is using the default proton thing

There's livesplit fork - https://github.com/LiveSplit/LiveSplitOne Also you can try to run livesplit through proton layer by adding it to Steam manually and selecting Proton Experimental in properties.
