I'm trying to speedrun this game and in every video I watch the AI isn't nearly as aggressive and teammate AI isn't nearly as bad. Do you guys play this on a real SNES? Because even with some real skill I can't even come anywhere near what others can with 10 goals.

I feel that a good deal of it has to do with your movements. Shaking left-right kinda throws D-men off. From what I can tell, you can also turn your back to them and make it a bit harder to be checked. I might have all that wrong, though.

emus are actually faster i find the console the cpu is slower snes is an advantage imo trust me these runs are 1 outta every 300 tries
