Hey all,

trying to figure out how to get this to run in a window to make it easier to stream. I'm using the 2010 edition version off archive.org, and even running it through DXWnd it keeps forcing itself to fullscreen seemingly no matter what settings I try.

And when I say "full screen", the game just swaps my screen's rez to 1024x768 at the menu and then only takes up a corner of the screen (640x480 I'd guess?) when in the actual game.

Has anyone had any luck? Or, any tips to make it easier for streaming?

I haven't been able to, I have the same results, game runs in the upper left corner but the videos for beating the dungeons run in the middle. I capture the entire display but have it as the bottom layer in OBS and have other things over it. terrible solution but its functional.

After you load into the game from the menu, hit esc and quit out and immediately start back up 'Shandalar' and it fixes the resolution for me so it's not taking up the corner of the screen anymore. As far as streaming, it does alright, but all of us have little hick-ups it shows on stream. @Big_slammu's loads on three different screens or something when playing haha

hah yea, I ended up making a Win7 VM (couldn't get 98 or 95 to work properly) and capturing that, which seems to work fine at the moment....now I'm just running into the game hanging constantly when I go into the "random events" on the map. I think I need to do a little more research into getting this thing running before I ask silly questions that can be answered by searching :)
