Hey, guys, I signed up only to write this. So the problem I ran into is that when I do the saber skip and I push the little peg on the pillar to shoot me upwards just instakills me no matter where I stand or when I push it. Been speedrunning the game for 2-3 weeks now but it never happened before. Now it does every single time. Any solutions?

Never mind I reinstalled the game and now it works again.

For reference, saber skip only works with sv_fps set to 20; if you do the majority of the run with sv_fps set to 125, you can use key binds to switch. I believe one of the guides covers this in more detail.

Someone already mentioned me that and first I thought that might be the case. So I set my fps to 20 but I still kept dying. (Also I was doing my runs on 125 fps before, even the saber skip and the seeker drone skips) Like I mentioned before reinstalling the game fixed it so I'm good now :D
