if u die at the very start before hitting any saves can u just start time on hitting r if i have to die to apple room and subsequently f2 and probably fuck up the meniung like 5 times in a row again ill probably finally go braindead

Yeah, that should be fine. I would argue the case on the original, but since the remaster doesn't have that delay when you start the game, there should be no real issue.
