This poll concerns only those who are running GTA2 or are "seriously" interested in running GTA2. Because the EE glitch breaks the game completely, some people asked for a possible new category, so here the two options:

1.) There should be a new category any% glitchless ILs

2.) There should be a new category any% EE-glitchless ILs

I vote for option 1.

Option 2 is just without the EE-glitch, I thought it was obvious. And option 1 is without any glitches. :p

I'd go with 2, but because I am not very knowledgeable about this game at all I think you should ignore my vote

(If it ends up being option 2, call it Any% No EE glitch instead)

Now, I'm going to be radical and say that a third option, Any% No EE, might be more fun to run since it means no grinding half the level for EE. (OTOH it might mean grinding the entire level with a tank, which is not any better.)

From the 2 options, option 1 makes the most sense in terms of non-arbitrariness but option 2 may possibly be more fun to run.

But yeah I'll vote for option 1, I suppose.

So, over a week has passed and we have 3-2 in favour of option 1, but I´m the only active runner of the game who has voted here.. lol.

Don´t know what to do, guess a new category will wait then until some sufficient number of people actually do some runs and then decide. :P

I have no intention to speedrun GTA2, but if anyone actually want to get grind optimized run for any of those ILs categories then he should be able to submit them. I don't think extra categories should be open until there's at least 1 run to for it. I read on the other thread that WordofWind did some "No EE glitch" run, but nobody ever did "Glitchless".

I hope to pick this up one day, maybe not soon, but it'll happen eventually.

@Gael: There are old glitchless runs, which would be probably added if a new category is opened. But yeah for now no new categories, until more runs of those get done.

Well I'd split categories to With/Without EE-glitch. Removing all glitches is really arbitrary IMO and let's be honest, district 2 without any glitches becomes a bore (wang car glitch is still fine). But if it will be any%/any% glitchless/any% no EE-glitch that would also be fine. I mean - only EE IL runner is you Molotok OpieOP

It´s more arbitrary to remove just one glitch than all glitches, but if more people will do the Wang Car route, which is most likely the case, the category will be split as any% and any% no EE-glitch.

Also, submit your freakin runs folks, if you have any. It would speed up the process. )

I actually think that best way of doing things is just adding a variable.
