Forgot to add, you can sorta get by it by just typing "nextmap" in the console, not sure how legit it is though considering it lets you keep all the weapons you got in level 1

May aswell use this thread as a sort of bug report thread, while doing a test run to get a bit better with the minimetro door route, somehow some way i became invincible on the minimetro level, no idea how the hell it happened but next time it does ill try to record it.

Alright, as for the christmas level where you keep returning to the carolers, just don't touch anything. If you try to respawn after you explode, it'll return you, but if you keep your hands off the keyboard, you should be taken to the mountain of Heaven level. As for the invincibility, there's only one reason I can remember as to why you'd be invincible: If you use the secondary attack of the bastignatore (Skull on a stick with one eye), and the moment after the explosion, switch weapons, you'll be invincible. Utilizing this is completely acceptable in runs, with the exceptions of Heresy and The Final Challenge. This happens because the game forces invincibilty onto you during the secondary attack, because there's an explosion right on top of the player, however, by switching weapons quickly after, the game does not realize it needs to remove your invincibility.
