I've found a cheap SFC cartridge online (way cheaper than the American version) and wanted to know if there's any difference between versions, like other games do.

As far as we know(or I and most others) there are no difference in the versions. However, we as a community hasn't looked that much into the "transition screens" between each race in the "Any%" category. Edwardfourzero6 can most likely answer that the best.

Gameplay wise there's no difference between U and J version. everything that works in J works in U and vice verse.
