Well, here it is. Possibly the final major milestone for the game, and more than likely my final record. I started running this game just over a year ago, taking down easier WRs and having a fun, nostalgic trip. But once I took the Any% record, I just kept going, improving and optimizing each level as I went. Before I started running the game, a 15:4x time was thought to be as fast as the game could go. I wouldn't settle for that. So i grinded and got a 16:04, 15:51, 15:34, 15:05, 14:48, 14:27, 14:10, 14:00.... And now we're in a world where sub-14 has been completed. This grind took nearly EVERYTHING from me to grind consistency, push each level to its absolute limit, and also to bite the bullet and go for the riskiest cycles deep into the run. Unlike my other records, SEVERAL end-game chokes happened, but I knew I could just get right back there and do better. It's been an absolute blast coming back to this game and seeing just how far it can go. With this, I'm taking the break I need and I thank EVERYONE in the community who stuck around, and came back when I started playing.
