I thought I was done with BLU speedruns until Dawntrail, but this challenge was irresistible because it is supposedly "impossible" to do solo.

The secret to skipping the quick-time event is to burst Susano down from 40% to 0 before it can happen. This is very hard! The largest window of opportunity comes during the "the seas part" attack.

Every part of this fight was optimized. It's easily possible to do too much damage and trigger the QTE with a DoT. Same problem if you get lucky and get too many crits! So towards the end you'll see me use a calculated number of Goblin Punches depending on where the lifebar is at.

In particular, I'm really proud of that first Rehydration cast during the stack marker. I also like how Song of Torment makes an unexpected appearance. Normally Nightbloom obsoletes SoT, since the DoTs override each other. I needed Both Ends for the big burst, but Both Ends and Nightbloom share a recast timer. And by coincidence Song of Torment had the "not too much damage" amount that I was looking for!

Also this fight uses all 24 skills on my hotbar. I think that is so cool!

I had two attempts win in 1m 21s, but I felt like there was another second to save by pressing my buttons better. So I pushed further hoping for a 1m 20s time and I was overjoyed when I saved 3 seconds!
